Liz+Ken | Wedding

December 13, 2011

I knew Liz from the neighborhood playground. Our moms became friends and the rest is history. Ken was also a childhood friend. We went to church together and his mom was my sunday school teacher. I remember talking about weddings and marriage with both separately but I would have never thought they would up together. Liz would pass by church and I would think she seems extra smiley today. Then I would see Ken and think, He’s acting strange….well stranger than usual. Next thing you know they finally admitted they were seeing each other….but we all pretty much knew  😉

My friends would always joke about having me photograph their weddings one day. You see I used to walk around with a camera and take photos for fun. I never thought that one day I would actually shoot their weddings…go figure.

I want to give a special thanks to Jesse Pafundi from Goldenhour Studios for second shooting/ assisting me!

Leave it up to Liz to have 2 pairs of shoes for the wedding  😉

Liz and Ken decided on having a first look. Its when the couple decided to see each other before the ceremony in order to take advantage of the natural light. I’m SOOOOOOOO glad they did because by the time the ceremony ended there would have been no light and these awesome photos would have never happened. Now that would have been a crime! Just sayin’…

Apparently I’m really funny  🙂

Best groomsman photo ever! I laughed so hard when I saw it again while editing.

The bridesmaids all got convertible dresses so they were able to customize it to their liking. Plus I’m sure they can wear it out again which is awesome in my book! Also, they all had purses instead of flowers. Cute and practical.

My mom totally has Liz’s aunt in a headlock! I guess thats what moms do when they get excited??
