This Saturday, February 20th, I’m hosting my first portrait Pop Up Shop in Los Angeles with my good friend Caroline of Pursue Love Design co. The idea came about when I kept hearing how people wanted to update their photos because it’s been years since the last time they had their photos professionally taken, yet they didn’t feel the need to book a full shoot. I thought how cool would it be to schedule multiple of mini sessions in one day. I’d create a shoot that would be fun and draw out your personality and you’ll end up with images you can cherish for a lifetime. To test the concept we asked a few of our friends to go through the motions of session. Initially we really wanted it to be a valentines day theme but due to scheduling conflicts it was necessary to postpone the pop up till after the holiday. Although the test shoot looks heavily v-day inspired, I think its possible to change the color palette of the wardrobe if desired and have a shoot that is even more timeless. At the end of the day, our desire is to create a fun inviting space to get some beautiful photos taken and finally update the frames in your home because you know you’ve been thinking about it 🙂
