For this week’s “things I love tuesdays” I wanted to talk about California. I’m flying out tomorrow and I’ll be back early March. I’ve always had a strange obsession with Cali. It must have been the sunny days and tropical palm trees that did for me. Oddly enough for a place that doesn’t usually get rain, It pours as soon as I get there. I mean like mudslide warning kind of rain! Not just once but 2 of the 4 times I’ve been there. For the past month I’ve been looking at the forecast and its been beautiful, sunny and warm so I was pumped. Now its in the 60s and its supposed to rain!! What gives?! :::sigh::: I’ll try to make the most of it but I’ll leave you with images from the last 2 years that I visited.
The best part of being there is visiting friends. (on the left) We drank coffee out of Hello Kitty mugs while doing grad school HW. lol! She’s the best.
