BEHIND THE LENS
I grew up in NYC, between languages and cultures. Never fully inside either world. Always reading the room from the edge. That became the eye. The observer. The one who notices what's happening before anyone thinks to perform for it.
Before photography there was music and graphic design. Both taught me that structure gives you the confidence to break rules. That the most interesting things happen in the space between what's written and what's felt.
Sixteen years later I'm still doing the same thing. Some things only get better with time. I hold space. I know when to step in and when to let a moment breathe. I document what people show when they forget someone's watching.
I work like a jazz musician. Weaving my solo in and out. Present enough to guide, quiet enough to let the real thing happen. The best moments come from that kind of collaboration. When two people stop performing and start playing together.
I have a strong point of view and people trust that. But I'm not interested in making every wedding look like mine. I'm inspired by your story. The specific, unrepeatable details of who you are and how you got here. That's what keeps the work alive. You bring the story. I bring the eye.
My couples don't have to know how to be photographed. They don't have to be comfortable in front of a camera. They just have to show up as they are. The rest is my job.
If that sounds like what you're looking for, I'd love to hear from you.
