Sarah+Frank | Harmony Chapel | Aubrey, TX | Wedding

April 17, 2011

I really enjoy shooting weddings. Now pair that with a new destination and fuhgettaboutit! It was such a nice change of pace compared to the gloomy cold NYC. That spring woodsy scent was in the air and I was practically skipping around with my camera. Ok not really because that stuff is heavy but you get what I mean…I  met Sarah for the first time the day before the wedding and it seemed like we’ve known each other for years. At one point I told her “hey I’d like to see you before the wedding.” She said “oh thats right we’ve never met before!” haha

The Harmony Chapel is so cute. In fact my assistant was drooling over it and mentioned wanting to get married there. There is natural light oozing in this place. Perfect for those rainy day weddings.

Oh and her flowers…GORGEOUS!!! Bows and Arrows did their thing in NY, then went back to Dallas to open a shop of her own. You HAAAAVE to check out their flowers arrangement. It’s pure eye candy!

Sarah’s Make up was done by the LaBelle Agency and Hair by Jennifer Nichols.

Ok Back to the wedding! Below are photos of Sarah’s Mother. How beautiful are those images?! Sarah even used lace from her mothers wedding dress to tie her flower bouquets togethers. (you’ll see that a little further down)

Tree Trunk Vase?! Yes please!!

I can’t wait for the trees to bloom like this in NYC. It’s taking forever!!!

I love how Frank walked into the frame. It led to a genuine spontaneous response from the girls.

This one makes me giggle…

Each girl had a different bouquet and dress neckline.

I love how Sarah’s eyes sparkle here.

I’ve only heard of Groom Cakes. Apparently its a Southern tradition. How cute is it?!

This lovely couple won a contest for being the longest married couple in the room! They had a few words of wisdom for Sarah and Frank.

Seriously the most beautiful Marriage License I’ve ever seen! I’m loving the Victorian typography.
