“We want our wedding to be epic!”
When I first met with Ana and Chris they spoke about their creative Hudson Valley wedding plans which made me want to count down the days till their wedding for how curious they made me.
Their day was filled with so much personality it made photographing a special treat.
There are so many favorite elements from this wedding. The two that stand out is because of Chris’ love for Christmas he included Christmas crackers on every plate and had people pull them at the same time which revealed a golden crown for each guest to wear. Ana wove a Sade lyric into her her vows; “everyday is Christmas and every night is a new years eve.”
Personal touches get me every time. I’ve photographed over 300 weddings at this point yet personal touches like these stay embedded in my heart. I was so grateful to be chosen to document their lovely wedding.
