After photographing weddings for over 8 years, people often ask me what I would do when it’s my turn. My answer… good brunch food, the VIP’s in my life and a simple dress I could probably wear again. It was so wonderful getting to experience that very thing through my camera and even get to sign their official documents as a witness!
I was so delighted when I found their inquiry email with an elopement date that coincided with my last trip to NYC. I love it when that happens! Living Bi-Coastally can be tricky. Case in point, I was back in NYC almost every 4-6 weeks since the summer started. While I don’t see myself moving back anytime soon, it’s amazing to get to see my friends and family while I’m back home.
