There is so much to love about this wedding. The Metropolitan Building is a hidden gem located in my hometown of Queens NY. (In fact, I actually went to grade school with the Brides Sister but I digress…)

One thing that stood out as a photographer was the amount of buffer time allotted for creating one of the most relaxed weddings I’ve ever photographed. The Metropolitan Building has so many beautiful nooks and crannies. It’s serious eye candy everywhere you turn! We were able to explore and take our time because we have the luxury of time to do so. If you’re curious, Jane & Daniel had 3 hours dedicated for the first look, portraits, bridal party and family photos.

If the thought of spending 3 hours in front of the camera makes you panic, you’re in good company. In reality, it felt like less time because we were having so much fun. Also, some of that time acted as a buffer for those random things that pop up on the wedding. I wasn’t photographing the entire time, but planning for things to go wrong is brilliant.

Now I don’t expect everyone to give me that much time on the day of their wedding, but it was really great to see what was possible when Time wasn’t an issue.

Love these two and their love for each other. It was incredibly endearing to be a part of this whole wedding process with them. I say this after every wedding but it’s true every single time. I love my couples!!!
